23. AALBORG INTERNATIONAL GUITAR FESTIVAL & COMPETITION: 
concerts - Competitions - masterclasses - workshops - exhibitions. 

 

The largest guitarfestival in Denmark. You can hear Classical, Modern, Jazz &  Blues - Flamenco, Folkmusic, music for everyone - young and old. Meet new guitarfriends at a concert , workshop, competition or at an exhibition.    


Aalborg International Guitar Festival creates through concerts, competition, workshops, music and guitar exhibits a forum to act as a source of inspiration for anyone with an interest in guitar, both as a rhythm and a classic instrument, whether you're a professional music teacher, music fan or happy amateur.

By rhythmic meeting classic, and amateurs meeting and collaborating with professionals, a forum that breaks down boundaries is established. This facilitates the possibility of experiences and collaboration across styles and borders.

Accomodation: 
Participants in masterclasses and workshops, Category I participants and guests with a festival pass are all offered free accommodation from Friday to Sunday in Skipper Clement School . NOTE : Bring your sleeping pad and sleeping bag. Wish for other accommodation see: www.visitaalborg.com or search the Aalborg Hostels

Meals included in the price for participants in Masterclasses , Workshops, Guests with a Festival Pass and Category 1 participants with a festival pass:
Saturday, March 30, 2019 : Breakfast , lunch and dinner and cake
Sunday, March 31, 2019: Breakfast and lunch and cake.
Bring lunch for friday evening 29th March 2019
Drinks can be purchased at Skipper Clement School .

Deadline for Announcements and payment:
Deadline for registration for courses is the 15. March  2019
Deadline for registration for competition is the 15. March 2019.
Registration as a Festival Pass (passive participants) can take place before and during the festival.
